Dr. Rui Wang 王睿

Dr. Rui Wang is currently an Assistant Professor at School of Engineering, Westlake University. He received his bachelor’s degree (2015) and master’s degree (2016) in Materials Science and Engineering from Jilin University and University of California, Berkeley, respectively. He then joined Prof. Yang Yang’s group at University of California, Los Angeles and obtained his PhD degree in 2019. Before joining Westlake University, he was a postdoctoral scholar at University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Rui Wang’s research focused on advanced fabrication and characterization of highly efficient and stable third generation photovoltaics, he has published 30+ peer-reviewed papers as first (co-first) or corresponding author in the prestigious journals including Science, Nature, Nature Photonics, etc. He was selected as Forbes Asia 30 under 30 (2022), MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 (2022) and DAMO Academy Young Fellow (2023).
